Web11 Apr 2024 · Today I replaced that set (maybe temporaily - we'll see) with a John Suhr SSV neck humbucker and SSH+ bridge humbucker in it. I used the 3 way switch already there. Awesome pickups. Slightly different sound from any other humbuckers I've used. They sound killer with distortion and overdrive but there's also an acoustic quality about them.

I have the Suhr SSV in the neck, and I absolutely love it for what I described above. Tons of bell-like resonance, and splits really well. I've tried the Suhr SSH+, SSH, SSV+, and DSV in the bridge.
