Webb13 apr. 2024 · Reading through the book of Proverbs a few days ago, then, I was struck by three verses, each of which promoted a helpful—and often overlooked—truth about the value of silence. 1. Listen Before You Speak “If one gives an answer before he hears, it is his folly and shame.” (Proverbs 18:13) WebbProverbs 13:8 The ransom of a man's life are his riches This verse is considered by some as setting forth the several advantages of riches and poverty.
