WebDec 27, 2024 · Alt + Tab is only a temporary fix. You’ll need a Microsoft account to disable it the normal way, which goes like this: Open Xbox app, you can access it via the start menu search. Sign in - this should be automatic if you normal sign into Windows. The cog in the bottom left access the settings menu. Head to GameDVR at the top and turn it off. There's a handful of related UI bugs like the game forgetting your keyboard scroll settings and forcing you to press up/down/left/right over & over (instead of letting you keep the key pressed) for each individual menu option, so I feel your pain.

It will first show that the game has been started by a new tab at the bottom of the screen, but will not open up the screen itself. The Stellaris Pre-Box thing shows up and that's the last thing that I see.
