Cons: 8 dedicated loops, no computer interface software. G2 Pros: 10 loops with ability to extend to another g2 for 20, individual loop gain control. WebSep 19, 2024 · Line level covers -10 up to +4db. Most digital pedals from TC, Boss, Digitech, Eventide etc will handle -10 or hotter level just fine. Effects loops on amps are line level, only back in early days did makers of amps use +4db level loops on amps during the rack effects craze. WebIf you have a more complicated setup, 3 amps, you can put an a/b type switch with a remote jack on your output to the bass amp and main amp and use the es8 to control it so you can have it work as either amp 1, amp 2 or amp 1 and 2. WebJul 2, 2024 · I've performed a factory reset, and there is nothing in any of the loops (physically or otherwise) and I can notice a significant difference between the guitar>amp and guitar>es8>amp signal. Even with both input and output buffers on, and the output buffer set to +6db, it's lower. The ES-8 works. It's just significantly lower.
